I've owned and used your knives for some years and without any problems . LIKE EM ! I'am new hear , just want to say THANKYOU ! Not only for your knives but for how you stand behind them!

I'll second that on all points and add this...
If you ever meet him you'll understand that he's an amazing guy with an amzing mind. We introduced ourselves the first night at the spring gathering last year. The next morning we chatted and he remembered my wife, daughter, and my name after being around a lot of other folks! He really made us feel welcomed at his place when we were newbies and with essentially a bunch of strangers. Of course the regulars took us in as well and we had a great time. He took the time to talk to us and tell my daughter stories and discuss food, then signed her Joy of Cooking book.

Yeah, Ka-Bar is the brand, but Becker is a real person. I'm proud to own his knives and be a Beckerhead and a part of this great little community we have here.

I don't know if I'll ever have the pleasure to meet him but he is a class act . How he takes the time to address the problems some have is amassing to me .

Ok what hit my soft spot was how Ethan stepped in on poss bent 9 . That was my kiss ass moment ta da

Ethan is an ethical, honest, moral businessman who is passionate about the outdoors, knives and those of us who enjoy both - especially together. He is a gentleman of the very first order who is additionally caring and generous. He gives freely not only of the material things but perhaps even more precious, his time and knowledge. That which was in all likelihood hard learned for him - he shares freely so that those on the same path benefit from his time and trials.

To those of us who appreciate the outdoors and knives, we could learn a lot from Ethan; not just about the outdoors and knives, but about life and being a giver.

It is not a stretch at all to say that the world, certainly our world (for those reading this, here) is a much better place with and because of Ethan Becker.

It's all good man. I'm just doing what Moose would have done if he were here.

Eathan becker is awesome.
And if he reads this wich he might.
If you ever want to see San Francisco i live 15mins away in the bay area. And i offer you and yours lodging at my humble condo..

I don't know Ethan and never visited this forum until buying a BK15 recently and posting here about it. He replied to my thread thanking me for my support as I have since seen him to do to others as well. Just based on that, do I really want to support any other knife maker in the future? Yeah, I like a good folder, but when it comes to fixed blades, I'm a Beckerhead despite whether I fit the criteria yet or not. Much respect.

I will agree with everyone here that Ethan is truly a man of the people.

While other makers/designers only put on their people face when in public or when they want you to buy, Ethan invites us to his home, feeds us, teaches us and parties with us. He truly cares "outside" of business, and that spirit is what sets him apart from everyone else.
I thank him for helping me love knives and wish him the best in all his endeavors.
