OK, I know I'm not the first to think of this, but What is the possibility that KaBar would make BK &T Knife scales in different Grivory colors?

I'm a fan of Grivory, and I was thinking about BK handle colors such as Orange, Khaki, Desert Tan, OD Green, Dark Green..........just to name a few. I know that there would be a lot of people interested in different colors and I would imagine that the price would be cheaper than micarta.....

I know that KaBar and you have a lot of irons in the fire right now, but it's just an idea I was kicking around. Then today I say Clown's post on Glow in the Dark scales, and chuckled to myself coz I'd been thinking about grivory in different colors, blah blah blah.....

Hey, and Ethan, I've really appreciated reading your responses to other poster's problems with your products and how you are proactive and kind to their situations. I'm proud to own your fine products and have been fortunate enough to have friends buy Beckers coz they've seen mine and they way I've extolled their virtues. Can't wait for the tweeners to come out, I'm getting most of them for sure. Thanks again.
 
I'm in... I completely agree different colors all around. I would love some for my Beckers. :)
 
i thought about trying to dye some to OD Green with RIT dye, I have heard mixed views on if this works or not. I would be in for some different colors!

I agree more colors in Grivory. Really, not sure what the holdup would be - they already make colored plastic handles:

Pink - Dozier
Brown - Baconator
Green - Toxic Avenger Zombie
Coyote - TDI

Seems to me you could make a sprint run of one or two colors - maybe OD and Intl Orange - especially since they fit all the knives. Guess us BH's just have to settle for black handles and quality 1095.
 
Bladite: then consider me "pestering"! You know, the squeaky wheel gets oiled! I know my daughter would like a BK9 with pink scales-- that would be her "school knife", to hack thru the mystery meat at lunchtime............
 
If the color options were sold separately and at a resonable price, I'd be in for a few sets of scales in different colors. Medium Brown, Desert Tan, OD green or Forest green and Blaze orange are the colors that I'd like to see made. :)
