We altered the name a little, might continue to do so each Gathering, so we don't get into that whole, Beckerhead East Coast Gathering MXXI, roman numerics thing.
These are going to be a main staple to the East Tenn area, so, not to worry.
So, we talked about it a little yesterday, and we were thinking about October 14, 15, and 16.
Ark, I told Ethan about ya, and he said, "We gotta get this guy down here". SO, you might 2 old guys with scraggly beards after you, if you don't make it.
It will be pretty much like last time, 3 days of fellowship, skills, booze, and some of the best campfire cooking around.
This is a little early, but I wanted to make sure you guys and gals that might attend, had plenty of time to work out the details.
Not sure if we will have any "special guests", like Jeff Randall, or Toooj, but I'm working on it. If you tell Jeff, there will be food, booze, knives, and guns, he'll show up, invited or not.
So, what do you guys think? Ya'll gonna try to make it this time?
We chose this time of year, because the foliage of the area are quite breathtaking. A spectrum of fall colors that stretch for miles down the valley. For those that attended the last one, in the spring, there are a few changes to the location, there has been some construction on the next ridge, making a better view available. I'm heading up today to check it out.
