I did the work with my son jack (3 years old), the thread got locked about 3 hours earlier than expected so that be the reason for this thread.
Ethan's July Challenge

Camp stool or seat. I asked my youngest to help me because he's the one of my 3 boys who always wants to see and hold my knives, guns and tools. Since he's only 3 years I really did all the work myself and used it as a knife safety lesson for him. I told him it was for a contest but he doesn't understand.

Here's a shot of the project well underway, I learned how to render tree sap/ pitch down into glue for this project, there a glue stick in this picture which I used to glue the wood in place before the jute twine wrap.

Here's the finished pair, Papa sized and jack sized, My boy already laid claim to that machete.

Seriously, this time difference kinda sux for us out this wayz.
 
I've only seen him close it early once before and even then I think he re opened it. Hope it's not a big deal, I put quite a few hours into this. Surprised me cause I was selecting my pics to put them in the contest and "Locked".
