Eugene Oregon this weekend

The OKCA show in Eugene Oregon is the 9th and 10th of this month. This ia always a great show to attend. Anyone going?

I left my heart in Eugene Saturday. While I was standing at a display table a gentleman walks up with a black brief case containing about 10 custom stillettos of his own making. I was awe struck: extremely beautiful functional art knives with extra thick parts, mule kicks and high-end scales. Apparently, he was getting market value opinions. I went to the lot for my camera and could not locate him when I returned. Cameronknives.msn.com is his site, but it is down now. I understand he was a tutor to Burn. Does anyone know about his work?

I was there too. Talk about a kid in a candy store! Many beautiful knives. I bought a nice little Wharncliffe folder by Russ Milligan (Bakersfield, CA) for myself, and a pretty folding stiletto-style blade by Nate Clark for my wife. Plus all the little odds and ends, of course. It's a good thing that show is only once a year.
