After much worry over customs, the Euro Basic 6 finally arrived.
It has a 6" blade, .25" thick. My closest knife would be the Camp Tramp, 7.5", .25" thick.
The B6 is fairly close in terms of size, but the the CT definitely feels heavier. 1.5" of SR101 adds a lot to it, I guess. The B6 is flat ground, with a sharper clip point than the CT. It looks like the B6 also tapers off more at the tip. The B6 looks like it has a dual flat primary grind.
The handles are both made of Resiprene. The CT is more textured for a grippier feel.
This is my first Basic. I don't know if they are all stamped Busse Combat on the handle near the choil, but this ones does.
The B6 also has a hole near the choil like the other Basics.
The blade needs a little work. It came with a burr on it! I'll have to touch it up a bit.
Overall, it is very similar to the CT. I think the main difference will be in the blade material - MINFI vs SR101.
