Just arrived today . . . . and I can't stop smiling. :)
What a beautiful "combat knife" . . .

A very nice pair, indeed, as if it's been designed to compliment each other . . . AWESOME!!

Look out, rats have invaded the forum!! Man your stations!

Nice pair.

Like the Euro LE. Sweet sheath for it also. Any idea whose work that is??

Mike's Safari is also a very sweet piece. Very practical. It will serve you well.

Sheath?? . . . Don't have a clue.
I got both pre-owned from the down-under hog Gundy.

:D

i got some sweet knives from Gundy with nice leather as well. If it like mine is was custom made in OZ. If he does not chime in, I can get a pic of the makers stamp later tonight. Nice knives BTW......I saw them in the gallery and rushed right over to inform the HOGS only to see that I am late as usual :D

Now that I think about it, the cordura may be one of Guy's home-brewed and hand-rolled creations.

Nice either way.

Err, you mean Guy could make one all by himself? This is new to me.
That cordura sheath is really nice.

I couldn't believe it myself, because it looked like a pro had done it, but Guy posted a sheath he was building over on the Swamp a few months ago that I was very impressed with. I have no doubts if you got the Caretaker from Guy that the sheath was built by him.

And yes - the leather sheath for the Safari Skinner is stock SRKW, which I think is pretty good quality for the price :D

I took this pic weekend before last.

More here.

Forgot to mention Saniti - I love that Caretaker! - wish I had put that one down as my first choice in the Extravaganza :( but I'm sure I will like my Fat Euro :D

Thanks for the links! ;)

The sheath Guy sent with the Euro-LE is the same as in his thread . . . It's also good to see how Mr. Guy Curtis looks like, after so many years on knives buy-sell-trade with him.

Great shots of the Skinner! Thanks for sharing.
;)

Sorry for the late replies fellas, I have been urm, travelling... :)

Yes, that is another of my tactical nylon style sheaths with utility pocket. Still practicing and trying new stuff however, when I get time....

Santi!!!! Do not forget to make a kydex insert for that LE sheath....Do not go just sticking that sharp beast in the nylon itself!
