European knife makers

I will be traveling to Edinburgh and London in November and I'm looking for a knife maker in each city I could visit and purchase a knife from if possible. Any suggestions or knife makers on this forum?​

Knife-making is pretty small scale and far and few between in Britain these days so you might not be able to buy from makers just like that.

As Will Power suggests, folder makers in UK are fairly small scale.

We do have some, obviously, in Sheffield - the classic centre for historic knife making with a handful of folder makers still in existence - just Google, "pocket knife makers in Sheffield".

However, there will be a concentration of makers from all over, here on 02nd November (near Coventry):

I wish I was going to ne there for that, it sounds awesome! We will be in London for a few days and then in Helpston. So it doesn't look like we are very close to Sheffield. If we have time to stop there I definitely will. Thanks for the info!
