Good morning Porch Dwellers ! There is and , I know of ,some threads about Douk Douk,Opinel ,etc. Recently I took on ,selling a line of professional chef knives made in Italy. So some here know I was once a chef. We were supplied ,back then ,by a fella who had chef knives commissioned for him from Germany. He'd ride all over L.I. and go to the back kitchen doors of restaraunts selling his knives,RIP Ludwig Schiff. Then,we also used Dexter knives as well. But what amazes me is that all the hours ,all the years interested in knives I had never seen nor heard of Sanelli. They are a 160 yr old Co. in the mts. of Italy near Switzerland in Premana Italy . Generations ,years of producing knives . They have a patented Biomaster feature added to the handles of the Premana Professional line. They source the steel from a French works , Bonpertuis Steel ,it seems Victronox also uses this steel. In any case ,the Sanelli Premana Professional line has a convex grind. I purchased samples and was floored by them ! I have been posting pictures of these knives on BF's and social media etc. , I have sold quite a bit & everyone seems very pleased.

So that's not really entire reason for this post . I'm taking the time to show something that caught my eye ,while on the web.

But,lol,I would also like to throw out there ,a $250. or more order from me will get you free shipping,a discount and,a free Opinel #6 ( while I have them)

This week coming I will have many new slipjoints by John Lloyd ,and new knives by Max Sao and more coming in as well. I certainly appreciate everyone here who has supported me over the years..

As my ramble continues ,I'd like to mention,I saw a knife that Paul posted ,the Otter ,like a sodbuster . Now ,I found myself looking hard at these ,lol

So finally ,let me show you guys something. MC Cognet ,makers of Douk Douk knives ,on the website is " Sons of Douk Douk " . I could not resist . I am now carrying one ,plus I purchased a set for myself . Others too, coming ,but for now ,take a look at these . I love the handle scenes !!!!!

Very cool.👍.....Love the Sons of Douk Douk.......👌

I believe the European cutlery rabbit hole is fairly significantly deep ... even without the Chef products.
(Heck, just the Laguiole rabbit hole seems deeper than White Star's 'TITANIC' ... The rabbit hole for various automatics from just France, Italy, Spain, and The Czech Republic, looks mighty deep to me, too.)

Mr. & Mrs. Douk Douk must be a very proud parents with sons like them. 😁👍

I realize this post is kinda all over the place. Lately for me it's like sensory overload for me . After multiple operations on my right eye going back well over a year now ,my vision is somewhat straightened out . Friendly tip, don't tear your retina in multiple spots at once ,and a side note to that ,in FL your allergies could really be bothered ,you can sneeze so hard ... yeah there I go again, lol :)

So those Sons of Douk Douk knives are the 4-3/8" size . The metal belt clip sheath is supple cowhide. The knife fits pretty snug in there and as you can see they fitted a cut out with the name exposed ,and makes a great spot to grasp them. Pretty neat ! The blades are ground super thin, they are razor slicers
