Even Heat Kiln - O1 question

Hello there. I am purchasing an even heat KH 414 because I only have 120v in my house.

when I bring the temp up for O1....do I put the blank in and then bring it to temp and then wait 10 minutes, or do I wait till it reached temp, put the blade in and wait?

Heat the kiln first, let it soak at temp for a while and then put the blade in.
