Gary Graley and I had some knifely dealings recently. I've been away from home for nearly two weeks, and when I returned I had a package from Gary waiting for me. On top of our transaction, he included a beautiful wooden display case with custom foam cutouts. I'd seen similar cases he had at the Rendezvous and thought how nice they looked, but never imagined being able to obtain one. It's a perfect way to display traditional knives, and I love it! Thank you very much!!

That's awesome! Looks custom made for those Scouts and a very fine way to store them. Nice gesture, Gary :thumbup:

Beautiful case, been admiring them from everyone at the Rendezvous who got them, very classy and great on Gary :)

Fantastic stuff, well done Gary :thumbup: Nicely photographed Rob :)

Nice Robb and thanks folks, those are hard to come by and had just the one left on hand so figured I'd surprise him :)

They really work great for these traditional folders!

Gary is top notch.

Even just the foam insert in the card board box he sent me with his gaw friction folder, was perfectly done. With cutouts and indents for the lanyard, knots, and knife.

Great display case.

Thanks Jim and I need to add that Robb can be a surprising person as well !! Today I received a box in the mail from him, a very nice Canal Street Cutlery folder with their velvet type pouch, and it is one of the few knives that ever arrive without needing to be sharpened, not sure what magic Robb put on the edge but it is a slicer indeed and will be one of my Wooden Wednesday folders for sure!

Here's a quick shot taken of the folder tonight;

Thanks again Robb, colour me surprised :) and happy ;)

Very nice indeed....:)

Too bad the rest of the world can't get along as well as this forum does. ;)

I blame the decrease of having front porches, seems to be a lost practice on houses these days!
