Blade is over and I'm sure a lot of folks spent a lot of $ on knives, maybe even Busse family knives. Yet now there are calls for a summer Ganza and when are we going to see the NMFSH.

So how do you guys even afford bacon or scotch? Seriously. BTW, there is no alcohol or bacon in ramon noodles. :foot: Just sayin'...

Sometimes you have to give up some things in life to get what you really want. It may mean eating less, doing laundry less (if you work outdoors that is), etc. Just depends on how bad you want that knife :D

The calls are probably from poor guys like me that didnt make it to blade. I say bring on the NMSHBM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't bought a Busse yet this year. Had I gone to Blade there's no doubt that I would have spent my budget. The only knives I have purchased this year are a ZT 0561, a ZT 0560, a Brown Para 2 Sprint and an Orange Para 2 sprint. Oh yeah, and a Rodent 4.

I'm excited for the SHBMLB, the Rattle Hawk, the Hogue Elishewitz Etreme Knives EX-02 and EX-04 and the Spyderco Tuff and Southfork.

Long hours at the "Rock" pay for my habits, and only keeping users. No Safe Queens will save you a ton. That or a kidney you don't really need.

I can't wait for that nmshbm, and while we're at it how about a nmshsh? Huh? How about that?

Bacon? Scotch? Who said I could afford that?!? We raise our own food so we don't starve when I overspend on INFI. With the preorders still coming I am taking a break for a bit though while recovering from Blade... well unless a Basic 8 comes along. :foot:

It's a constant battle between INFI and my heirs over my retirement savings. The heirs usually lose.

They will inherit a lot of great knives, however!:D

Reminds me of the story of a man on his deathbed, with his family gathered around him. He looked at his wife, son, and daughter, and said, "I realize too late now that I have missed so much of your lives because of my fishing. Dear, I'm truly sorry for all the times I wasn't there for our anniversaries, for those times you had to handle crisies with the kids alone, for the missed moments of passion. I was usually on a trout stream, or great bass waters, or offshore fishing for Marlin, instead of where I ought to be. And son, I missed so much of your growing up, the ball games, the school activities, the moments when a son needs a father. I am so sorry. And princess, why I even missed your first date, getting your braces off, seeing you off to the prom. You turned into a beautiful lady without me even noticing." He settled back on his pillow and wih his dying breath gave a satisfied grin and said, "but I sure did catch a helluva lotta fish!"

Seriously, It's getting bad, I make 20k at my POS job and spent 2k on Busse this year. Busse has 10% of my Income.
I just call it the Busse Income tax. Its all about priorities, ya know.

In my opinion, that's better than a church tithe. :foot:

I wish income tax was only 10% too. :o
