Evenheat Kiln App

Hey All

Does anyone here use the Evenheat Kiln Tap App? I was thinking of putting a wifi range extender in my shop so I could connect my Kiln to the app, but I don't know if it's really worth it....

I did and it worked for a bit. It seems like the app is no longer available for android. To be honest it didnt work well at all ever. I was very disappointed with it. I emailed several times with no response. The idea is good but the execution is poor in my opinion.

With the rate of change on mobile if they are leaving the app development to an outside group the compatibility is going to be spotty. Any time an update happens to the phone OS it has the chance of killing the app.

Are you talking about the tap controller app? If so I use it every day and it’s amazing. But I don’t really care for Evenheat and got my stuff straight from tap.

Can you share some info about the app and how you run it. Im pretty sure thats the app I had and I could never get it to work right.

There is some delay from the app and the klin time and temp Reading.

Can't fire with the app but can modify and monitor.

Evenheat said they are working on upgrading the features.

At first I was disappointed with the lack of features but the convenience is worth not having to be in the shop.

It only works for apple IOS right now.

funny how Evenheat says that. It’s not their controller or app. I worked with tap in the beginning when it had some major bugs and gave them my 2¢ and thy seam to have really done a good job refining the controller. I will elaborate on the app later when I get home.
