Ever break a Strider???

Hello,

Anybody out there ever break a Strider? Like have a SMF actually break whether at the lock, pivot or even snap a blade.

Just wondering if it has ever been done and what Strider did to fix it.

What's the worst thing anybody has ever done to one?

Here is one pic I found. I think they replaced the blade for the cost of shipping. The guy said he was prying open an ammo box or something

They have a pretty solid warranty, I wouldn't be scared of it breaking though.
 
Cliff Stamp did break one during his tests. Although, it was extreme abuse, and deliberate for testing purposes. Did have pretty bad reaction from Strider and his fans though.
 
I think what Cliff Stamp did was not cool, that is abuse of good will by a quality company.

If he broke it during actual use thats fine, but break it intentionally and ask for a new blade is unethical IMO.
 
This showed up in one of the forums some time back. Fellow claimed he just dropped it. I didn't catch the follow up on what was done. I suspect probably it was replaced..
