Playing around with some lighting effects tonight. The wife did a great job... :D

Got the idea from the digital masterman Shelby, from a shot he took a couple of years ago.

The things you get up to when there is nothing on the telly.

Guy, Nice effects! Congrats to Mrs G on the paint-job. Looks like the rehab, counseling, witness protection program surgery, and a few pounds of Bondo have turned you into a nearly-human being. ;) :D BTW, good choice of bladeware for the shot. Wouldn't want to use any puny artsy-fartsy girly-mon wannabe blade for a "Monster From Oz" pic like that.

Wow, I must have been tired last night, I just noticed the sweat on the face in the pic. Thats why the Mrs. was sprayin that body spray on me, I thought she was getting to something else...;)

Very cool shot, I love photography myself and can appreciate the image...

BUT, I was glad to see your face and not a pale moon shot...that would be just wrong...;)

funny enough Gary, I chose a 'pale moon shot' but the wife said that this one had more of a realistic character.

Lighting can be very tricky!

I agree. The 'coot just does not create the same level of "OMG-I-just-wet-myself-at-the-sight-of-that-knife" awe as the BR. One of those "Go big or go home" situations, I guess. :)

Cool picture Guy. Maybe someday I'll post a picture of me, and all of my tattoos. My entire right arm is sleeved up to the shoulder and I'm working on my left arm too.

You may find it hard to believe, but that's not me in my avatar!:)
 
I thought it was man! But becuase you look so much like John Boy, I was too embarrassed to say anything! ;)
