Get that weird feeling?

Pat your pockets...

Everything is there....

Feeling doesn't go away....

Start taking things out one by one....

Everything in its place....

Until...

Anyone got a single spare Bronze anno'd 3" scale screw?

It's a 3", and in typical fashion, Rob comes through with amazing customer service. RHK is one of those companies who will do whatever it takes for a customer, regardless of whether they have to or not. But we all know that around here!

Rob is an awesome human being without a doubt.

Btw, did you turn your pocket inside out and examine each side of the stitching to assure it isn't hiding in the pocket?

Through 3 different pair of pants, then used flashlights throughout the carpet where I get dressed and all the places I remembered using it. Long Gone.

Ben :

The answer to that totally depends on whether you would like to discuss the physics or metaphysics of that question.
But the simple answer.....evil screw fairy.

I had a 3" scale screw come loose and get lost on a custom spearpoint. Never had an issue with any of my 3.5" though. Must be due to having less threads on the screws. Who knows?

Lol. Would tightening it down with a little more torque prevent that from happening? I better start checking mine regularly to see if it is coming loose. :)

I think RHK recommends making sure the screws are tight but not cranking down on them....and never use loctite on the handle screws.
A quick visual check every once in a while should ensure that your screws stay in.
Other than that, there's not too much more that you can do.
And the sad fact is that every once in a while XMs, like people, suffer from a loose screw.

Keeping some spares might prove to be a good idea for me. :)
Thanks for highlighting this.

Ooh, that almost happened to me the other day. With my domed gen 3 screws. I make sure they are nice and tight now!
