OK, I do that all the time. They are stuffed in all kinds of nooks and crannies. This one surprised me, though. I am getting ready to move so I am moving stuff around and this knife fell out of a bag. It is a small (blade under 2") red handled Gerber that I was given at the Gerber booth at a SHOT show in 2001. It says on the blade "SHOT Show 2001". I think it is called an Ultralight because it says that on the box. I never used it and have no idea what I am going to do with it, but I think it is pretty neat.

Use your imagination, man!

I'll see what I can do. The soon to be ex wife took the camera. But I may have a trick or two up my sleeve.

Yep just looked at it the other day in my sock drawer in its box. Back about oh maybe 8 years ago or so my wife took my daughter to Europe with her on a business trip. Well the trip ended in Davos Switz. My wife went into a shop and bought me a Klozli folder, for over 300 bucks U.S. I about crapped when she brought it home and gave it to me. Here in the U.S. it is a 180 dollar knife retail and less on line. Never told her though. Forgot I had it. keepem sharp

OK, you asked for it. It isn't pretty, but this is the best I could do with my cell phone and my shaky hand.

Forget about knives? Heck, I forget about guns that I have let alone a little bitty knife.

I wish I could do that, I don't have enough knives to forget about one or 2...well I have plenty, but I love them all too much to forget, lol...but when I get old I am sure I will forget and everytime I find it again I will be happy, can't wait, lol!

I have an old "Edge mark" hunter that my dad gave me.It was my first real knife so I was crushed when I lost it outside one winter.when spring wound arround I went searching like crazy for it and finally found it sticking out of our front lawn.
I rushed it back inside and set to cleaning it (carbon blade).I still have it to this day.

I've got several knives around the house that I can't remember where they are! I think I need to take a day off from work to find those suckers. I guess this is what happens when you buy so many knives that you can't keep track of them. They seem to hide in nooks and crannies that over time you forget about. My users are always available and are my EDCs but when it comes to knives that I bought 10-20 years ago my brain goes blank.

Yep ... I sure did. It's a handmade Moki with inlaid MOP. I'm not sure who the bonehead was that tucked it away in an out of the way spot for safe keeping. :o

When I found it, it had been "tucked away" for a couple of years. I had honestly forgotten about it.

I have a Bear Ninja that I lose every time I find it again, it is a mean cycle... find knife, lose it again, find knife, lose it again. I need to chain it to my wall or something.

I've found about 7 or 8 knives in the last 15 to 20 years, everything from junk to nice SAKs and Boy Scout Knives

About two moves ago the movers grabbed everything not nailed down and stuffed it all into random boxes and bags. I had already packed everything for them, but they went the extra mile, i guess. My leatherman wave had been left out because I wanted to have it handy for my move-in. I always assumed the movers stole it . . . but I just found it - 7 years later. They had stuffed it in a side pocket of a snowboard bag.

I have found several knives I had totally forgotten about. My Beretta Airlight, a Spyderco Rescue 1st Gen. with yellow FRN, and a nice push dagger I bought in France were all in an old gun case in my mom's basement, along with a nice 20 guage pump shotgun and a 38 S&W revolver. I had completely forgot I had all of that stuff, I'd long since moved away and found the case while rummaging around in her basement for Christmas ornaments. Score!
