Ever get seller or traders remorse?

I just did a great deal with three of my knives and I got three very special knives in return. No regrets at all. Except, one of the knives I traded was one of my Annual Sebs. I can't get it out of my mind. I know I can get another annual maybe next year or score one off of the forums. I am happy to learn that the other trader is also very happy with the seb. It's funny though, I keep thinking about the one that got away....

Ummm... NO! I never sell or trade any knives, I keep 'em all! And for sure I would not sell or trade my annual sebenza.

YES! Why oh why did I let that bg42 small sebbie go?!? That's only one of my "I wish I never sold"s but I digress.

yes but I've not sold a sebbie

I'm not even that keen on thelarge one as I don't really go for big folders but well it matches the small one and they are one of a kind

Letting a Small BG-42 Classic go in a trade was painful.

Seeing it come back was joyful.

Selling it afterwards was stupid.

Finally landing a Small Reg BG-42 is just serendipity.

The only remorse I have ever felt while dealing with a trade or sale came about 6 years ago. I sold off a 1 of 1 custom Bowie made by Rob Simonich. I sold it for $750. What an absolute dummy. live and learn I guess. If I knew then, that I could never have another one, it would have gone right in the safe. I have a few other customs that will never leave my grip of death just from living through that stupid moment.

I've sold many knives and had remorse. I have two Sebenzas, one for about a year the other for about four years. They are in my will.

Well, I found another Large LE with Thuya Burl inlays and bought it. It is inbound now and I plan on making it my user Large Sebbie.

The one I traded had a damascus blade that was really too nice to use, so this one will feel better as a real user with the S30V blade.

So its all good now.

Nice pics, I might have to grab a dressed up Sebbie. The last couple of woodies that I bought were back in '04. I have been on a plain jane kick for a few years.

When all you have left of one of your Umfaan's are pictures, yes, you get seller's remorse pretty bad. :(
