allo all again.
im still eagerly awaiting for the espada y daga set and dha sword from yangdu, teasing me saying she will send pics of them as soon as she can- a week, i mean a week!! ahhh!
ahem...anyway, the feeling that i am on about is that it gradually dawns on you, when looking on ebay or looking at kris cutlery, you think to yourself- wish that blade had some makers marks on them, or that the blade is a nice shape but you know is a wallhanger..."i wonder what HI would make of it, i know they could make it".
ive been looking at HI for a long tme and perusing the swords, blown away by their quality and swords, sheer variety of khkuris alone. i feel this company is more real and accessible than any other i have come across, and that is some thing i dont say lightly! i mean where else could i bag a 20" jange kukri on special offer, or a napoleon sword, or just suggest a project and its on its way to being forged? ive just lost interest in kris cutlery or such, even staring at bugei swords! help, HI have me in their grasp!!
ps, more reports on my dha-espada project when recieved. i know there are tose of you who are eager to see them! and i WILL post pics of my damascus dha and jange kukri. and its good, really good over here in blighty, i dont get any hassle from the customs people on charges when ordering from HI! yay! thumbs up to yangdu, bura, and the rest of the people at HI!
