Ever have a knife that just didn't like you?

Not trying to get mysitcal here, but have any of you guy ever had a knife that just seemed to have it in for you? I have a Spyderco Bob Terzuola Slipit that just wants my blood. It really seems to want to bite me every time I take it out to use. I've been cut by knives MANY times before, but usually not by the same knife. THAT one has given me multiple bloody nicks, and cut a finger to the bone one time. Anymore I just pass it up when it comes up in the EDC rotation.

Have any of you guys had similar 'Demon Knives'?

Yep! I have a kitchen knife that keeps trying to take off my fingers. I've lost two fingertips to it. Anymore I don't use it.
 
If I ever acquired a knife that was possessed like that:eek:, I would have someone perform an exorcism. If that didn't work, I would assume that the knife just didn't me :grumpy: and find some poor trusty soul to gift it to.:D
 
My Griptilian gets lose when I look at it. I also cant keep it clean, I cant keep it sharpened, and it seems like there's always something to fix, adjust, sharpen, etc.
It can't stay happy.
 
Nope, it has nothing to do with the knife. Or at least I've never had one that was possessed:p
 
I bought a used Buck Strider folder. It seemed like it had sharp edges everwhere, the least of which was the blade. Using it was like trying to open a box with a cactus. Plus the super rough G10 scales exfoliated my palm every time I used it. But the guy who bought it from me really liked it, so I guess I just wasn't man enough to own it.
 
Yeah all the ones I broke, and or damaged in some way over the past 30 years. :D
 
I have one of these and it's every bit as bad as you say it is. I look at it once in awhile to remind myself that
"Made in USA" doesn't guarantee the knife isn't a POS....

I think i have the brother of this knife, my hand always slides on the slick handle and it likes to eat my finger tips, i put skate tape on the handle which helps some, don't know why i still use it :confused:
