You guys ever have a knife that just sits their, I have one that is no different from the others the only differences is it has wrought iron instead of my usual brass. I have had it dang near 8 months I usually don't have them hang around but just a few weeks:grumpy: What to do I donate a knife to the wheeling sportsmans every year, they take handicapped kids hunting, I'm about to just donate it and be done, is that wrong of me:o

Not wrong at all they get a knife to auction or raffel off to raise money. you get a good feeling for doing something nice. win / win situation to me.

Nope. If I have a knife that won't sell I will find a home for it another way. I like to stick one in a care package and send it to Iraq or Afghanistan every now and then.
There are plenty of worthy causes out there that you can benefit with your work. You might even generate some future business with the exposure, so I try not to let a piece languish on my shelf. They have to earn their keep one way or another, they can't speak for you if they don't leave the shop.
Granted I am a hobbyist and do not have to genreate income from my knives, I appreciate that it can be a bit different for a professional/full time maker.
