Without ever having taken it a part have you ever lost a screw out of your leatherman ?
Because I've never once heard a story of this ever happening.
I haven't even lost a screw out of my micra which I've had apart countless times.

Didn't fall out, but I had a pivot screw get loose on my Charge TTi. I've been too lazy to lock-tite it, but every once in a while when the implements come out too easily, I just tighten it up a bit and we're good for a couple of months more, or so. On another occasion I had trouble with a pivot screw on a Surge. That one went back to Leatherman for a 10 day, free fix by Leatherman Warranty (needed other minor adjustments, too.) Every other Leatherman I own has stayed right and tight, except for an original Super Tool which got a bit loose from 9 years of flawless service, still entirely serviceable. Over the last 20 years, I've had pretty good luck with Leatherman products.

Only time I lost a screw was when I took the "pocket clip" off my sidekick, so it would fit the medium size Case belt sheath I had.

I found the screw. Later gifted the Sidekick with Case belt sheath to my owner.

Never had it happen to me. I have noticed they put a TON of thread locker on their tools though, especially recently.
