I just stumbled over a brand named M. Nieto. Does anyone of you know or own some of their knives? the are making mainly fixed blades. One interesting thing is a 9 in. Bowie from 440C will that be too brittle for the length?

Hi Seb,
I only know Nieto is a Spanish company (probably from Toledo), and the knives I saw were medium-priced pieces, some of them nicely done. See ya on messerforum!

They get quite a bit of exposure down here. They seem to be fairly good quality, especially for the price. They're in the catagory of if it breaks, try to get it replaced. If you can't - Does it really matter?

I had one a long time ago, beat the hell out of it, it always came back for more.

By the way, it's Miguel Nieto

You can find them most everywhere here in Brazil.
In my opinion, they are too heavy and fit and finish uses to be poor.
