Currently waiting on three knives, I thought back on the year. At first, only one knife purchase came to mind. Now I realize it was nine prior to this month. Not a lot, and it averages out to $50 each, so not terribly expensive, but still weird to let it all slip my mind.

Guilty here.

i have had blades slip from my mind between order and delivery! That includes commercial blades shipped the day I ordered them!

Makes for exciting mail delivery though. :D

Yeah, I have forgotten the knives that I have on order. I was aksied the other day, and a few came to mind, then one more, and oh yeah, that one........You get the point. I have some knives on order that will NOT be ready until 2012.

The best way to 'remember' is to tell yourself you're done buying knives (and really mean it this time! :D ) and that's when all the waiting-list and pre-order emails will roll in.

Yeah, over the period of a year I definately will forget what it was I purchased, even over a period of a month to 6 weeks I can forget. It is sorta odd, no doubt.

I sometimes forget to remember forgotten rememberances. WTF?

But no, if I order a knife, I remember it and count the days until it arrives.
