Hey all,

I have never had a SCANDI ground knife. The more I see pics of them though, the more I want one. Even better, I would love to make my own. Not that I have any great skill or anything, but I think it would be a neat project to do.

Right now the one that I have had my eye on for a while is from ENZO. I love the Trapper 115mm and the TAIGA. The Trapper I think I could manage, but the TAIGA, I am not so sure. It has that LONG rat tail type tang that extends off of the "main" tang section and I don't know what to do what that part.

Anyway, there are so many other brands and styles out there that it's hard to choose. I'd like to see your knives and maybe I'll get more inspiration to get going on mine or at least choose one to start with.

So without any more delay...lets see those SCANDI Knives guys and gals....

Thank you.

Here is one with pretty simple handle and a Lauri blade. I will probably dig up more photos later.

OOH..that's nice. Please do dig up more photos....I'd really like to see them.

I would like to try that HELLE Viking blade. I've watched some videos on assembling a knife using this blade, and other SCANDI blades, and I think I could do it. It doesn't look that difficult. Now getting it to be really purty like the one above, that's a whole nother story entire.

Lets see 'em.

Here is one with a Helle blade. I do not remember the name of the blade. It is very small, only a couple of inches. I have got another knife with Helle Brakar blade (if I am not mistaken) that I have made probably a couple years back, but I have to take a picture before I can share it.
