Ever trade away a knife only to get back that exact knife from a different person?

Just thought I'd comment on something funny, and see if anybody has ever had a similar experience...

Early this year I traded away my Lionsteel SR1A, and I almost immediately regretted it. I've been looking to get that knife back ever since then, and a few days ago I had the opportunity to trade for a SR1A from a person I've never dealt with before. So I did the trade, and got the knife today. However, as soon as I got the knife, I immediately recognized the freehand reprofiling I had done (ugly, but sharp). I contacted the person I had just traded with, and found that they had got the knife from the person I had originally traded with many months ago! As it turns out, I had gotten back the exact same knife I had originally bought, but from someone I had never dealt with before.

What are the chances, haha. Anybody ever had a similar experience?

Never had that happen...BUT...

I had to sell my first ever custom back in May, I hated doing it and I still think about that knife a lot. About a month ago I was browsing through the EDC thread and there it was, staring me in the face from a different owner than the one that bought it off me. He lives about two hours away in the same state and even offered to meet up for a beer sometime and re-unite if I was ever out that way.

I have to admit, I was pretty surprised. Happy, though! Before I originally traded it, I had taken that knife on quite a few excursions, so it's good to have it back!

No, but I have read of others' experiences. That is incredible.
