Open a Google window and type
5*6.25
Google Calculator will return "31.25"

I know, big whoop. Lots of ways to get that answer.

BUT!

If you type in
6.25 cups in teaspoons

GC will return, "300 teaspoons"
============================================

Try typing
20 miles * 15 miles in hectares

GC returns "(20 miles) * 15 miles = 77 699.6433 hectares"

===========================================

Try
7000 hectares / 500 meters in yards

GC returns (7000 hectares) / (500 meters) = 153 105.862 yards
=====================================
Here's another. Type
60 light years / 5000 kilometers per hour in days

GC returns
(60 light years) / (5000 kilometers per hour) = 4.7302642 × 109 days

=======================================

On my Cool-o-meter, this ranks a 10.
(OK, I'm a geek. Deal with it.)

Try odd units of measure. Do not use abbreviations.

Oh, and if you type in
The answer to life, the universe, and everything

"The answer to life, the universe, and everything = 42".
(Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

"Smart calculator. :cool:

Never used it, but yes, it is very nice. I used to use a currency calculator a lot, but now I just typed "25 usd in euro" and it responds "25 Amerikaanse dollars = 17,049717 euro's". Guess I don't need that currency calculator anymore, just use Google.

BUT... Will it tell me how much wood a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Wow I never new about the Guide reference.

I did know that it has a keen grasp of really esoteric measurement systems and antiquated terms. For example:

1 (rod per hour) = 8.4 furlongs per fortnight

It even knows smoots and beard-seconds!
