I've seen so many comments about people using their SAK for more than a decade and counting. Has anyone ever had to use their warranty? Mine is 15+ years old. It still looks and performs like the day I bought it.
I sent a Vic back- I bought it used and they still fulfilled the warranty. They replaced the knife with a brand NIB one. The knife developed a frozen backspring on one of the blades. But, out of the many vic products I have, it's acceptable for one to need replacement.
I have 2 small Wengers with built in LED light. The light quit on one and new batteries didn't cure it so I bought a second. When the light went belly up on the second one I sent both to Wenger. Got 2 new knives in return, no questions asked.
I sent in a Vic Classic that had a damaged blade and received a NIB knife a few weeks later, no questions asked. All my other Vics have their dings and scratches knives get from use but are holding up just fine.
Sent in a Wenger World Scout Knife a couple iof years back because the scissors fell apart in my rucsac. Rather than fix it, they sent me a new knife, but it was very inferior, the main blade was blunt as a piece of cardboard.
