I honestly don't think that I've seen its equal:eek:
Look at the curve on that blade:D:thumbup:

Ahhhhh damn it, this is turning into an expensive day ;)

I'll take it :D

Always wanted one and the curve on this one is too good to pass up.

Yangdu, please let me know the damage with S&H to Canada

Very, very ,very, very nice.

Agreed about the curve... "Wange wood" Hmmm... looks like walnut.

Wang Wood? Where's Bruise when we need him?

Yes; who did get the blade?

Congrats westfork. Wonderful piece of work.

I'll be sending my address info along shortly, so you'll have plenty of time to get my Christmas present in the mail. ;)

Your post doesn't mention if you sent an email to Yangdu...... If not, you should do so next time. She only responds to emailed requests. I have not seen you on the HI forum before so Welcome! :) Good luck snagging deals there are some quick sharks out there with sharp teeth.

I'm not really into katanas, so I don't kno wmuch about them, but isn't a 3/8" spine a bit larger than what you'd normally see on a katana? Plus the blade looks a bit wider.

That is to say, to my untrained eye, this one looks like if you put it next to a "regular" katana, the regular one would start to cry.

Katana is not a good description. Uncle Bill said it is not a Japanese style. An Indonesian Dao is a closer description of HI blade.

I suspect the word katana is what is most accepted to westeners.

Been here before and on BF for a bit, picked up a HI Falcata and a Uddha sword so far. Yes I did send a follow-up email but was slow on the draw due to work interrupting ;) Oh well, lesson learned
