Anyone ever use a stamp made by Everstamp for their makers mark? I'm really looking into getting a custom made stamp for my makers mark so I can bypass who I have now doing it for me. Too much of a hassle bringing my knives there and having to wait unknown amount of time to get them back. I really would like a nice metal stamp with my logo. They're expensive so I was curious if anyone were to use one.

I think half the folks who use any type of stamp get them from Henry Evers.....AKA - Everstamp.

I have an Evers that is 23+ years old, so they've certainly been at it long enough. Mine hasn't been used as frequently as some, I'm sure, but it has been used for both hot and cold stamping and it shows no visible wear.

Awesome! Im just worried the small size will skew my logo and make it look funny. Not sure how small and accurate they can be with them

I have H.A.Evers ring stamps that have 1mm tall characters...and they stamp quite clearly.

Keep your maker's mark as simple and "to the point" as possible. It will stamp VERY clearly that way if you do your part correctly plus it won't cost an arm and a leg to have it made........Henry's stamps are about as good as it gets BTW :)

I have been using an Everstamp for over 20 years and it works like new. I heat the area to be stamped to a cherry red before stamping using a hammer. Don't do it cold, and only use it on annealed steel, I ruined the first stamp after only a few strikes.
