A Holy Tearer that is!!!!

I knew I had to make a couple of HTs for the BBDs (I'll call them Birds Beak Duccis just so I have someway to reference them). So, when I ended up with enough extra material, I made these in time to get them heat treated with the knives. Yes, I can get all my fingers inside the loop, I'll take more picture combos soon and post them.

Here are a couple of in-hand pictures and one with a scale. I take a XL glove size, but I don't have thick fingers. The handle size is fine for cutting, but I wouldn't chop with these knives as they are too small.

Why two holes on one side of each HT?

I'll pick mine up tonight! :D

The large one in the middle is an original one and I think Jerry put the hole there as the talon hole trade mark, that would be my guess at least.

Nice work there, you've certainly got an eye for this stuff.

What type of screw are you using to secure them? Is it quick release or threaded?

The screws are regular 8 - 32 stainless button allen heads, the lower piece (sharpened piece) has a threaded hole.

Damn, Tim...you're killing it, brother. Time to get a makers's mark and start working on designs.

I added a few in-hand pictures to the first post.

Beautiful work... Really!
I am so used to seeing those knives on a larger scale that when you posted the pics of the Birds Beak Duccis in hand, I thought you were a giant! Kind of like when you look at the pics of that giant motorcycle with the girl from a couple of days ago here.
