Every Day Carry limited edition knife

I have a Benchmade Mini Presidio II, 575GY-2001, with M4 steel blade. It appears that only 1000 were made. My question is, would you EDC and use every day such a knife as this?

I would because I don't think they would sell for a lot these days. But if you think you want to sell it, then keep it safe.

I would use it hone it sharpen it, to get to know M4 in the 575GY-2001 build.

More than half of the knives in my regular rotation are either discontinued, older sprint runs or customs (in 2 cases 1 of 1 rather than 1 of 1000). I enjoy carrying and using them … it’s the kick I get out of owning them. If I loose of break them that would be very unfortunate but it’s a chance I am happy to take.

If you get enough of a kick out of “pride of ownership” and the knife lives in a safe, that’s also good. Different people own / collect knives for different reasons … there is no “right” answer.
