what is everyones EDC?? i am carrying this 885UH i got this past weekend. i love it!! actually got to use it yesterday for something besides cutting tape here at work!!:jerkit: before that i carried the 272 stock, but unfortunetley i lost it!!! i dropped it skinning a gray fox and i swear i think a midget ran up and grabbed it, i cant find it anywhere!!!:eek: i went back yesterday but still couldnt find it!! dang the luck huh?
 
I switch between the following, depending on my mood:

61OT
858OT

As you can tell, I'm a stockman kind of guy.
 
lately i have been carrying a 104OT or a 12UH. i just got a 233 on ebay that i think im gonna start carrying when it arrives.

Although I am a Schrade fan my EDC for several years has been my Vic Rucksack. I've added a S&W auto (after I lost my BM auto) for on duty. My only EDC Schrade at the moment is a Switch-It SW7S but so far the S&W wins. I've been looking for a smaller traditional folder for "formal carry" but nothing yet. Unlike some, I rarely Ebuy and prefer flea markets, pawn shops, the occasional NIB brick & mortar find, etc.
 
yea, i prefer to buy a knife i can hold and tryout. i have gotten ripped before on ebay, and i learned from it. dont feel bad eyegor, i carried a case for a long time, nice bone handles, until i dropped it cleaning a deer one morning, those handles shattered like glass!! thats what turned me on to schrade, i had to carry my daddys OT, and u cant bust them things up!!

I use 3 different Schrade's as EDC - different sizes for different jobs. I have a little 12OT that seems to get the most use and is carried more often than it's larger siblings. Bought it new for $12. I use an 855UH from time to time that I bought used for $11, and I occasionally use a 4-pin LB7 that I picked up used for $13 (all prices include shipping).

A lightly used schrade can be the best bargain in the world! If cared-for... I plan on useing these same three knives for a long time, although secretly I hope for occasions to give them away to relatives so that I can open a new version of the same model from my collection... Most likely end up giving my sons these EDC when we go camping or something...who knows.
 
good golly! is 3 knives too many too carry?? I carry a Lg or Small Sebenza with a peak matterhorn:thumbup: in sheaths made by G2 a 807 [just got this one!] and either my Benchmade 3550 our my MT UT6[I love the snap of an auto!!] jeez...that leaves 1 more pocket:eek:
