Made this EMc (Every Man Carry) for my eight year old, but I think with a 1/4 inch longer handle it would be great for just about anybody (man, boy, girl or woman). Check it out.

Looks great! Light, slim, functional and sturdy - all the qualities you'd want in an all-around carry knife

Great and functional looking knife. Simple and strong.

Great also to see I'm not the only one raising traditional archers. :)

I like this as well, brings back memories when I was about 8 or 9 & my dad trying to show me how to string his Bear longbow. "End on the ouside of your right foot, step thru the string & bow, etc." Took me a few years to really be able to pull that 55# back to it's full extension though, but dad was very patient.
Great shot of your son, glad to see this heading into the next generation. . . :)
Be safe.

Hey Scott! Great looking knife! How did you like working with the cruforge? I'm still experimenting with it.

Looks like a great young archer you got there.

Adam-

Thank you everyone. In the picture he is shooting a locust self bow I made a year ago. He does not know it yet, but he is getting his first real bow for Christmas this year.

I am still experimenting with the Cru Forge. The grain structure can be amazing, but it is picky about working heat. I have only broken one, so I am not ready to make any broad statements about it yet, but I have it in the hands of one of my best testers. If it survives him, it will probably be a great steel. I will let you know more as I know more.

I would've killed for a knife like that as an eight year old. He must be thrilled.
Great looking knife.
