Does anyone own this book. What can you tell me about it? Where can I find it?

I just finished reading it today. Here's my honest opinion. There's some good information in the book. The book itself is often poorly written and it is often difficult to understand his point due to his inability to adequately describe it. The diagrams are generally very poor. The author often makes contradictory statements. But, nevertheless, I enjoyed reading it.

Does that make me a knife knut?

Hoodoo

The low, hoarse purr of the whirling stone—the light-press’d blade,
Diffusing, dropping, sideways-darting, in tiny showers of gold,
Sparkles from the wheel.

Oh yeah, I read it, too and I think the book sucks. The info is as fuzzy as the photos.

The book is poorly written. While there are some interesting suggestions the author's ever present bias and narrow premise makes it of limited value. Clearly, I can't see many of us modifying our knives to the extent recommended by this author. There are simply better tools, and books, available.
