a few years ago i purchased a lean mean street from bladeart.com
i consider it to be one of the most useful knives i own but i would prefer the 1/4 version. does anyone know if there is going to be a knife similar to this when the fusions come out?

I think the Active Duty is going to be your best bet.

Very nice size for EDC.

Gabriel, I agree, a very useful size knife.

What color are the handles on yours??

They're TAN and it's mine now!!!:D :p :p

I hope your not worried about breaking that Mean Street. You'd be pretty hard pressed to do that. I just started carrying a Groove Master as EDC and I'm not worried about breaking it. I do like 1/4 inch better for some things but for EDC the thinner blade just is more useful for cutting and slicing. I may look into an Active Duty when the new line hits. It's not as thick as your Mean Street but I still won't worry about breaking it.

ya, the smallest thing in the line up besides the active duty (wich is awesome) and the assault shaker is the air rescue... and that.... that is far far far from small.

Do any of you Hogs actually READ the original post before making comments?

GABRIEL BUTCHER -- There is nothing in the Fusion line (to date) that is 1/4" and the size of the LMS/MS. :(
The Active Duty is .15" -- a bit thicker than 1/8". The LMS is .187".

You may be able to find someone willing to trade their MS for your LMS. Just remember that the LMS originally sold at a $10 premium. :)

Hmm, I thought Nic and I both agreed that the Active Duty was comparable in size. :D

Nope. They don't read the post. They just reply to increase their post counts.

If any of you actually know of a 1/4" thick Active Duty, then I apologize.:footinmou

Would you have everyone just say "no" because there isn't anything in the new line that is that small and 1/4 inch. What everyone did do was point out the one blade that is around the same size. In an earlier post I even mention that the Active Duty is thinner. So yeah I read the post. Maybe we should all just be more to the point.
Perhaps next time someone asks a question we should just have one word answers.
Does something like that exist in the new line? No.
Better?

Mike :D :D :D And the simple solution, root around a bit for a 1/4" MS ( or fatter) they are out there floating around.

A full thickness 1/4" active duty would be outstanding, and boy would I love to get my hands on one.

I would love to see an AD in 1/4. That Off Duty is whispering to me. Must resist. :D
I'd also like to have any thickness Mean Street. My preference would be for 1/4. Again, must resist. :D

Never resist the Off Duty, as of now there's nothing else like it in your hand. It would be an understatement to say I love the Off Duties...do yourself a favor and order one :)
