Everyday tools for an urban setting

I'm working on a multitool design and wanted some input on the necessary tools. A lot of us carry SAKs and other multitools. For some weight is a priority, for others less is more. My goal is to design a MT with the least amount of tools but the ones that really count. Remember it is for an urban environment and it doesn't need to be an all out, do it all tool. Im guessing it wont need a saw or a descaler. So far I've got a 2 7/8" full flat S30v blade so it will be legal in most places. All of the tools will be made of Ti for light weight and strength. And the scales will most likely be made of g-10. Just so you can imagine, it will resemble a SAK in construction with slipjoint features. What I would really like to hear is what tools are absolutely necessary for EDC in the city. So let's hear it.

-Screwdrivers.
I have the Victorinox Cadet and I haven't met a screw I could not use.
So there is no need for a separate Philips head screwdriver in my opinion.
-Owl
or whatever its called. A sturdy pointy piece of metal to pry with.
-Scissors
Don't use them myself but I know some people do.
-Pen
For writing, should be universal and replaceable. Like those metal fillings in more expensive pens.
-LED light.
Battery should be a common one.
-Pliers
Takes a lot of room but is very handy.
-Bolt key
A tool to remove and tighten bolts.
-Socket for bits.
Like screwdriver, allen, hex, etc.

Think you noticed by now English is not my main.

What I ALWAYS look for in any multi-tool or SAK:

scissors
pliers
bottle opener
pen (most knives lack this feature, but in an urban setting, it is probably the most useful tool of all!)

Urban environment eh?

Tools that I always have with me at any given moment:
1. Knife (duh)
2. Large flathead screwdriver, doubles as pry bar
3. Small flathead screwdriver
4. Large Phillips screwdriver
5. Small Phillips screwdriver
6. Pliers / wire cutter
7. Pen
8. Bottle cap opener

Why are the small screwdrivers important? Because living in an urban environment you will deal with a lot of electronics. If you haven't noticed, a lot of battery operated stuff now uses small screws to secure the battery door.

If LM Skeletool comes with a pen and those minuscule screwdrivers like the Wave, I'll have my urban multitool holy grail.

Victorinox Soldier alox + a pen, that basicly has everything urban dweller might need... though Pliers could become handy time to time.

For me:
Large, medium and small flat screwdriver, small phillips (make small screwdrivers really small, electronic/hourglass style)
Awl
Pliers
Maybe scissors.

That's it.
Large flat screwdriver can double as a small prybar, a simple hex-shaped cutout can serve as a serviceable bits socket.
LED light may be an option, but I would just clip a Photon on it; besides, I carry a flashlight.

I think you have to decide on who will buy this tool. Do you want it to be a tool for Joe Common, integrating things like knife blade, pen, light, etc., or do you want it to appeal to pocket-stuffing people that already carry a knife, pen, flashlight, trauma pack etc., giving them only a streamlined tool to tackle screws, bolts, wires and stuff like that?

These are the tools i use the most:

1. Knife, dosent have to be a large blade.
2. Scissors, after the knife this is the tool i use most.
3. Large flathead screwdriver, doubles as a prybar too.
4. Phillips screwdriver.
5. Bottle opener is nice to have for those who cant open a bottle with the screwdriver.

About the bolt tool I mentioned.

This supposedly works very well. And this could be implemented just like a knife or bottleopener.

Tools I need most:

1. Pliers
2. Phillips Screwdriver
3. Knife
4. Awl
5. Screwdriver

Tools that I never need and even wonder why someone would put them on a tool:

1. bottle opener (you can open a bottle with the hilt or with any tool mentioned above)
2. carabiner
3.corkscrew (normally the waiter got his own if he brings me the wine)
4. in an urban environment can opener are pretty useless as well.

I carry a small swiss army knife (dont' know the model name)
it has a small screwdriver, small phillips head, scissors, knife, pen, and a red led light. it has a few other features but these are the ones i use the most, this knife has been with me for years and i absolutely love it and go nowhere without it.

Sorry if I missed this in other posts here, but how about a whistle?

I have one integrated into the handle of one of my Tool Logic knives and boy is it loud! It will startle the weirdos when you are walking late at night.

1. A Pen
2. A light
3. Blade / or Box cutter
4. Flat Head Screw Driver
5. Phillips Head Screw Driver
6. Scissors
7. Nail File
8. Pry Tool

the tools i carry in my pockets seem to break down to the following:

Pliers
Pry Bar
plethora of screw drivers
Knife
Scissors
Pen

They come from a skeletool cx, leatherman squirt s4 and a widgy bar.
