I hope everyone is having a great week with the recent ganzaa and the Holidays upon us. With that being said I am writing this as a public apology to everyone here.Latley I have done a couple things that I am ashamed of and feel the need to ask forgiveness from the folks here both old and new. First off last week I left a negative feedback for a member here that I did not do a deal with. I had started a trade thread and had received several offers and the member I am refering to got upset because I didnt get back with him to let him know anything and sent me a not so freindly e-mail. So without thinking I left him a negative feedback in retaliation. This was very childish and immature of me and I while I have apologized in another thread in GB@U I wanted to apologize here because this is where I spend the majority of my time on BF.

Another thing that has bothered me and I wanted to say something sooner but did not want it to be taken as a unsincere apology because of the ganzaa is the thread I stated about the HOG only speacial. I am a recently inducted HOG myself and had no right to say anything about the amount of new HOGs being inducted. I know that if it were me that needed to be inducted to take advantage of the HODD ganzaa I would have done the same thing. So I want to apologize to all the new HOGs and say welcome to the trough.

I also want to apologize to the old guards. You guys have built this place to what it is today and I have acted childish and hope that you all can forgive me and allow me the oppurtunity to prove myself as a worthy HOG.

I am sure that some wont be accepting but it is my hope that most will.
So in a nutshell I am sorry for the way I have acted and wanted to say so.
I enjoy spending time here and the people here are as good as they come.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas and you all get INFI under the tree..

We've all put our foot in our mouth, Lee. What's important is that we learn to dislike the taste so much that we avoid doing it again.

That said...you've shown a lot of spirit since you've shown up around here. I think most will understand. Thanks for having the chutzpah to stand up. May it never be needed again.:thumbup:
 
No worries here friend! We all have things we're not proud of in our closets but it takes the best of us as people to acknowledge the worst that we have done. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas as well.
 
No one is perfect. We all do things we sometimes regret. Without judging the situations you described, apology accepted in my book. To apologize sincerely is the sign of integrity and character - true HOG qualities.

Let me be the first to say that it is going to be very hard to forgive you without first seeing pictures of you knife collection.

You are A+ in my book.

All of us have made rash comments/actions and the good guys own up to their misdeeds and then rock on.

Way to go buddy. I know that I'm glad that you are here. :D

i read both threads, and i thought your apology in the gbu thread was sincere. i was disappointed by the response it received from the "feedback member", but forgetting and forgiving is not a forgone conclusion.

im not one of the old guard, more of a med-guard cyber hog, but fwiw, taking responsibility and admission of wrongdoing goes a long way in my book.

No apology needed on my end Lee but thumbs up:thumbup::thumbup: for being man enough to admit when you've made a mistake. We've all done it at one time or another...so your not alone.
 
well said Lee, thanks for taking the time to spell all that out.

I wasn't aware of the situations you mentioned but do appreciate the tone and sincerity of your post here --- good on you bro.
 
people make mistakes.

I was tempted to leave some either neutral or neg feed back once or twice. One on a deal that fell through. And once on a slow pay. But both turned out ok, so I held off.

The deal that fell through was with some one with a ton of good feed back, out of country, wanted the customs slip to say something else than real value. He offered me to keep some of the funds he had already sent (paid in full right away, and told me to keep 10% as an inconvenience fee, but I refunded all of it). That was pretty stand up of him to offer, and made me feel better about it (also the fact that I had not stated in my thread anything about customs forms).
 
So now that were done... Can I have the pumpkin FBM? What, someone had to ask again.
 
Self monitoring is a good thing. No one owed me any apologies but all are gladly and sincerely accepted :thumbup:
