I bought a Boker 712 recently, and it was everything I thought it would be. Good product, great quality.

Don't know if Boker still manufactures the 710/712 series, but they are truly nice. I'd guess they are hand-finished, guessing by the pinned construction. I've got one of the jigged-Delrin models that's been a great user for years. The lock doesn't wear like I thought it would, which leads me to believe that if you get one that has a well-sunken tip from the git-go, it'll stay that way for a good while. I've had one or two that when closed, the blade tip peeked everso slightly out of the handle. This of course is unacceptable. Wouldn't trade the one of mine that's solid as a rock for anything.

Professor.
