Everything still ok at Seki City?

Was wondering whether the earthquake in the North East had any impact on the Seki City plant? Everything still ok there, and do they still have power? Been watching BBC footage since the start and it looks pretty bad. Don't know exactly where Seki City is, but the impact would probably affect most of Japan.

Anyone got any news on Seki? This is not an insensitive question, rather a note of concern from a big fan of the Seki product.

+1

Sal and Eric are at IWA in Germany this WE but certainly will give us some news, hopefully good, soon.

... and also the folks in Taichung! Good thoughts and besh wishes to all out that way...

Even if there was little or no direct impact from the earthquake or flooding, I think the entire nation of Japan and the whole existing infrastructure will be affected.

I pray they all recover quickly.

BD51, thanks for the map. Looks like they are pretty far from the major disaster areas.

Trouble is, all of Japan is affected. Power supply also a problem.

Have been following BBC and CNN news footage since the start. This is a real tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Japanese people.

The next 48 hours will be critical for the nuclear plant.

Let's pray.
