Hey guys, was there anything you asked Santa for and didn't get in your stocking this year? I asked the fat man for a Cv peanut but apparently I wasn't high enough on the "nice" list this year. Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't get any knives this year. :( guess I am going to have to leave cookies next year. Lol
 
I asked Santa for an ebony Case Muskrat and didn't get it. That's fine though I have gotten to many for Christmas anyway and have just enough for a new GEC when my check rolls in anyway. I'm much more disappointed that I spent the whole Christmas week in the hospital with my wife; sure am glad she's almost well and at home!! One rough Christmas!
 
Santa brought me a bottle opener that looks like a Craftsman screwdriver. Says I'm too hard to shop for.
Funny, I don't have any trouble finding a plethora of things to buy for myself. :confused:
 
Same here, I could tell my family exactly what I want with a picture, price, and where to go to get and end up with a pink pogo stick.
 
I don't think I want Santa know what I'm paying for these knives ;).

I did ask for an iPod or a digital camera, trying to explain that I didn't want Santa dropping coin on me. Santa told me I would not be gettiing an iPod or digital camera :eek::D.

I did however get a Blu Ray player, and a tool box for my truck. Both greatly appreciated. Now I can watch Youtube movies about knives through my Bluray player, and can put all of my knives in the toolbox on the truck ;).

I also got David Boyes Step by Step Knifemaking book. I think that I may just have to give this a try.
 
knifeless here too, although i did get a .50 Hawkens and a Henry lever gun :D

I know better than to ask for knives, as everyone I know thinks my tastes are too snobbish. No one wants to spend the kind of money on gifts for me, as I spend on myself.:D I would never ask that of them, either.

I did get a Shrade (Taylor) 2-Blade Jack this year from my Father-in-Law. He usually comes through with a sharp thing, or two, and has been the only person to consistently understand my hobby.
 
I asked for a 2012 forum knife and I got it lol...also got a candy cane RR trapper that I liked and the wife got it for me.
 
I asked Santa if he could help me find a stainless 72. Needless to say he laughed :D

I did get that Pioneer I had been lusting over though!

I would take that over a wool shirt any day. I have a no 6 that I have turned into a Texas toothpick and I love it. Plus if you get cold you could skin a bear with it and wear the fur. Lol
