I just got the brian nadeau evo typhoon in and I’m really liking it on first impression. The size is perfect for edc, it fills my grip extremely comfortably, and is deceptively light. The Detent and action are awesome. This will end up getting a lot of pocket time.

I actually got mine today and I have to say I'm really impressed. I got the carbon fiber inlay version with what looks like the same blade style you have. Fit and finish are excellent. The carbon fiber is perfect. The blade is centered with zero play and lock up is early.

His designs are so well thought out and executed. I also really like the way he does pocket clips. If he ever does left handed versions I may have to pick one up.

Congrats, those look outstanding!

I am waiting on the standard blade with CF inlays. Kind of wish I had gone aspirated and American tanto, but I’m sure it will be excellent nevertheless.

Just opened mine up, and am stunned by how phenomenal this is. I think this one rivals the Reate Jack for build quality and design. I highly recommend picking up one of these if you are the least bit curious, the pictures do not do them justice!

I've been seeing those pop up.... looks amazing. Comgrats I'm hoping to get my hands on one soon!

I’ve handled mine but not used it yet. My first impression is that it reminds me of my Holt Specter, and that’s a good thing. Feels great in hand, and I love the thin blade grind. Nice!

Not a fan of cutouts but that blade shape looks like a good user. Nice.

I figure the aerodynamics will allow me to cut zip ties and shit much faster. Maybe even take my wire skinning to the next level. And don’t even get me started on lunch prep...

I like blade holes that allow opening the knife. This one doesn’t. Aside from a little weight-saving, is it purely aesthetic? Not sure if there’s another function.

Not sure what the rationale is for doing it. I prefer simple stylings in most things. I can’t stand Damascus for the same reason.

Got mine in CF bolsters and the drop point configuration. I measured the edge at around .013" thick for most of the blade. I'm extremely impressed by the grind and overall execution of this knife.

On my second day with this knife, I figured out I actually can open the knife with the blade hole, using my middle finger. It’s not the easiest opening hole to use but works for me the majority of the time.

Otherwise if it’s for weight loss, well, mine’s light at 3.95 oz. On the other hand, I could use the balance to be a bit more forward.

Overall I’m really impressed. This may be the best knife I’ve seen for the price, especially at the Black Friday price. The blade is ground for slicing, at 0.017 inches behind the edge. The handle is one of the most comfortable I’ve held. And there are many great if subtle touches that show a lot of thought went into the design, like how one screw invisible from the show side holds the knife together along with the pivot, the way the CF inlay overlies and protects the lock bar from inadvertent pressure, and the recessed lanyard hole invisible from the side. The jimping is perfect and for once extends far enough forward to include the entire portion of the spine where my thumb rests. Thanks, Brian! And of course it has his great detent ramp. Really, really nice knife.
