Started with a Kershaw Skyline years back, upped the ante to a CRKT M16-01T , my Para Military 2 and Manix 2 XL arrived within 1 day of each other so they each get a week of my attention alternating :) The Ladybug hides out in my GF's massive pocketbook.

Nice. Is that where the clips shipped installed. Just got my para 2. I guess the clip is in a good spot for deployment, could be a little uncomfortable if i were gripping tightly or for long periods... but i don't know any better or different.

Yes , that is the factory clip position on both Spyderco's .

Nice, great knives. I've actually never had an XL Manix, is there a difference between it and the Manix 2, other than size?

Nice.
I started at Gerber, then Kershaw and BUCK, then took the leap to Benchmade.
I still buy all of these brands except Gerber

From what I can tell, Its around 4 ounces lighter and the blade is slightly thinner.

From left to right this is my EDC evolution over a period of almost 50 years.
The first small slipjoint was a gift from my grandfather. The yellow handle was a hand down from my father after he broke the blade. I carried it in high school while working in his garage.
The little Buck I bought for myself, for some reason I thought the rounded tip was what I needed.
I bought the SOG and later the Cold Steel on recommendations of knife dealers after I asked them what knife brands had good steel.
I bought the Spyderco Wayne Goddard when I discovered micarta and pocket clips. I got the AFCK because of its linerlock. From that point on I would carry only knives with clips, thumbstuds/bladeholes, and some lock I could disengage with one hand.
I bought the EDI Genesis because I liked the size and style, but lots of people asked me why I was carrying such a big knife. I bought the Leek because I liked S30V and polished G10, but it seemed a bit small to me. The mini-grip was still small enough to not attract attention but big enough to be useful to me. I've bought more EDC knives this year and my preferred size is moving up more to a 3.5" average.
