Dear all,

Here is the latest nessmunk hunter i have created. I am in need of a entusiast hunters, to hear their opinions. Here are all the specs:
OAL - 250 mm/ 30 mm/ 4.5 mm. Blade 125 mm
Imperial - 9.8 inch/ 1.18 inch/ 0.17 inch. Blade 4.9 inch
Weight: 164 gram

-N690 stainless steel at 63 HRC - cryo quenched(heat treated by me and mesured by me)
-Handles out of satin black G10 and carbon fiber pins. Three dots of silver on each side.
- 400p hand rubbed satin finish on the blade
- 0.4mm edge thickness on behind the cutting edge. 20 degree cutting angle

That looks like a great, purpose-driven design.

My only concern is the small hole in the ricasso. Why is it there? It seems like it would be constantly getting full of gunk that will not simply wipe off, especially if you are processing game.

I like everything about it otherwise.

Thank you for the feedback! Yes stuff will defently get in there for sure and it will need to be cleaned out. It is a paracord hole to create a loop around your fingers, so that the knife stays in your palm, but the fingers can be used.
 
it's an attractive knife, lots of little features to admire and it looks purpose built to me, although my experience in the intended use arena is close to zero
 
Looks pretty. Don't like the hole. For a hunter it seems a bit thick, but I don't hunt except at the farmers market. The grind looks suberb, I'll bet it cuts good :)
