Over the weekend i was away at hilly area of lush oil palm and rubber tree estate. It's a wonderful getaway as well as working on knife projects.

I've got Mr.Singh with me and coincidentally the GM of the estate knew my fever for Nepalese culture and introduced me Tulsi.

Tulsi is from Khotang district of Nepal and served in the Nepalese army for 16 years before coming over to work as a gardener.

He was very excited when he saw ASTK and requested to have these pictures taken. Mr.Singh and him clicked right away.

He couldn't bring his with him as the law in Malaysia is different.

Enjoy the pics:

The metal tin around his back is an anti-mozzy device:D

in that first picture he makes that gardening uniform look like a military uniform, that is an intimidating stance!

The way he dressed has some shadows to it.

He asked how made it and i told him to read the Devanagari to me. It says Murali and he explained flute.
I learned something new when he told me the straight flute blowing down is Bahsuri/Bahsuli.

Oh we called him Ironman because of that anti-mozzy device that looks like power source.

haha.
