I was browsing some old advertisements of Buck's early days. I can't find the specific ad that I'm talking about now, but it said something along the lines; If your knife broke, no matter the brand, Buck would re-blade it with their own. Does anybody have pictures of these frankenstien monster knives?

Ah, thanks. What about fixed blades, did they ever re-blade those?
I'm not sure why they would when the blade is really the whole knife and to put an old handle ( would've probably been some smelly old well worn stacked leather ) on a new blade would be weird. Not to say it couldn't be done but just buying a whole new knife would make much more sense.
