Hey guys. I made a thread yesterday that was supposed to be posted here, but it posted in the wrong forum courtesy of Tapatalk.

Anyway, I feel like I should explain here about my experience.

I ordered a 12x24" piece of leather for some sheaths that I need to make. The leather arrived very nicely packaged, however there was a large crease/burnish that makes a portion of the leather unusable for what I intended.

Long story short, I emailed asking if it was possible to get a small discount on a future purchase. They replied this morning letting me know that they are sending out a new piece today, no charge or even asking that I return the damaged piece. They said that they are unsure how the damaged piece left their facility in the first place and I believe them. If the packaging were damaged I'd say that the leather may have been pressed against the shoestring that they used to tie up the roll, but that must not be the case, at least not in transit.

Excellent customer service, and I'll certainly buy from them again. Aside from the crease, the leather looks to be outstanding.

Sshhh! There you go letting the cat out of the bag. I've been using them for several years with the best of luck. Kevin, Chauncey and the gang simply know what they're talking about and do business like they are in it for the long haul. Could share several stories myself but, bottom line, they work so hard to leave a trail of happy customers. Excellent advice, huge range of quality products and solid pricing too! And they are a pleasure to talk to - even as a small buyer. That's important here.

Just wanted to update. I got the leather in. I'm not sure why (well, I guess because it would make sense), but I thought they'd send 1 foot. They sent a whole new 12x24 piece. Now I imagine that this piece was hand selected, but man is it utterly flawless.

Honestly, I can't imagine getting a better slice of cow (big thanks to the cow btw), likewise, I can't imagine better customer service. They have a new customer for life.
