I've owned and used Emerson knives since 2002, but have never had a reason to send one in. I got a CQC-7 recently, that came with a poorly made backspacer. It was crooked and didn't fit the knife right and was too bad to ignore. My other CQC-7's backspacer is perfect, so I assume that the bad one just snuck through QC. Regardless, EKI sent me a shipping label to return the knife. It came back about a week later, with a perfect backspacer.
Then, last Friday, I got an email saying that the SF Persians were back in stock. I ordered one that minute, thinking that it would arrive later this week. I got into the office this morning and the package was sitting on my chair, waiting for me. They must have boxed it up the second I ordered, to get it on the road so quickly. Most mail from California takes a week to get here.
I won't ever hesitate to order from EKI, knowing that if I do get a knife with an issue it will get taken care of promptly.
Thanks Emerson Knives
