It's really good to get back into the swing of things. With in the last 10 days I picked up a few toys, 2 of which are of the new releases and the HDDD well I missed those a while back. Not sure of the release date of the fighter but imagine a Knob Creek trip some time back.

The fighter is one nasty dude. It has an 8.300" blade w/sharpened swedge, recurve and hilt heavy which is right out of the fighter handbooks. You want the weight sitting in your hand so you have a fast blade and it is every bit that.

The BS w/sheath is awesome as I have missed my CGFBM so much and this is now the KING!!!
Jerry I only wish you had made the ASH-2 years ago. What a perfect Large GP knife. Not to large and not to small and if you have to do bush work all day this is the ticket. Going up to the cabin in about 3-weeks so it's going to get the bark knocked of it.

The HDDD, well it's just fun to have a little toad sticker that will cut coming and going.

enjoy:

Ash 2 looks like fun. I wonder what it looks like underneath the coating... It is a saber grind correct?

The fighter.... 😎🙌🙇🙌🙇🙆🙇🙆🙇🙌🙇🙌🙇

Very nice. I'm assuming a flat grind, under .1875" thick?

Spectacular scores Russ!

Glad to have you back bellyed-up to the trough!:)

Isn't the balance of that Saw exquisite? EASILY my favorite large BUSSE!!!

Timmy, Yes on the ASH-2 w/sabre grind. The Fighter is actually .248" on my calipers just in front of the scales and yes to it being a flat grind as well. I've owned several of Jerry's fighters and this one hands down is my favorite of all I've had, those I've drooled on and over. Had ERGO's, Fusion family of blades and this one is the one for me.

Pete, you were spot on about the feel/balance of the BS. I agree also about being the favorite of the large Busse knives. The blade thickness and hilt style, nothing but sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

Congrats on a bunch of great scores Russ!!!

Love the Battle Saw, and that Fighter... Ooh she makes me swoon!!!! --- :D
