Excelsior

Just wondering, are the Excelsior and Pocket Pal the same knife? I had a Pocket Pal when younger, and just bought an Excelsior. I’m sure they’re the same. Red cellidor (is that word correct?) handles. If so, what’s with the name changing?

The only difference between the two is that the Excelsior has a key ring.
